Spontaneity, environmental awareness, and the primeval nature of matter are central themes explored in this collection, which focuses on the power of the material to dictate the final form of these functional works of art. The collection consists of 14 one-of-a-kind tables that are cut from a single piece of 10"-thick marble. A perfectly polished marble surface on one side is juxtaposed with a naturally rough surface on the opposite side, recalling the mountains where the stone came from.
